Two birthday cards created using amuse stamps. They are both in hospitality at the Rock. They both are wonderful and inspirational people who loves God and just want to "do something" to serve Him.
Here's my card for Glenda's weekly challeng e. This week was to use scraps. This was a fairly easy since I have tons of scraps! The only thing is new is the stamps, newly inked. Does that count? I hope so. Glenda, thanks for this challenge because I got a chance to clean and purge my scrap box! It needs more organizing but I got it down to three scrap boxes: large scraps, medium, and small-but-usable scraps. There were a lot of white card stock pieces that I could now use instead of using a new full sheet! A Muse: stamps: three cups, what's brewing, other: twinkle stars, paper: vintage red, card base: wausau classic cardstock.
So I've been going through some stressful and difficult times in my life recently. I wanna get married, find a home for us (I get to/want to buy things....), teach TFC (Teens For Christ) Discipleship, and go back to school. I'm just being a wuss. I pray that I can "Let Go and Let God" but I'm the kind of person asking "Lord, can you show me? What does that look like?" Dude, I don't know about you but I'm praying for the wrong thing. In church I'm taught to "Just pray about it". I got so stress out about life that I got sick about it. Just enough sick to put me through the ER!!! Anyway, my lesson learned: Pray for peace in my heart, what ever that looks like, just give me a "chill pill"....Lift this burden of heaviness off me. For me, I pray that I can chill and Trust Him-whatever that looks like. Although because I don't know what it looks like, I'm scared (heart skips a beat) of what it does look like! Does that m...
What's shakin'? dets: all a|s unless stated: CS: sugar and watermelon; Stamps: tini time; Inks: bubblegum, lichen, papaya, and a muse dye black; Other: glue dots-memory book and a|s diamond glitter up close glitz up glue dots This week at CAS-ual Friday is: click on link to CFC #14 It was a challenging card because I really don't like to use glitter or glue dots. Glitter can get very messy and for some reason glue dots does not stick well with me. If you take a look at the up close shot, the glue dot on the left side is not perfectly round. I don't know why that happens. Anyone have any ideas? It was a fun challenge nontheless. I got a chance to play with this month's spotlight "Tini Time". I am in love with this set. I love how the bubbles and starlight things came out. I masked the top papaya starlight thing and was very impressed how it turned out. I actually just covered it with a piece of paper and I was afr...
