Life is...Just Ducky!

Glenda's weekly random amusing challenge was to use "ribbon, hardware and punches." I love the ducky and the sentiment "just ducky" so I couldn't resist making this one. It ws fun stamping the images but I almost forgot to use punches. oops! Great recovery though...with the flower punch. The ribbons match the shadows, using MS pastel inks. There's also star dust stickles in the circles. :)

I also spent most of my Saturday morning browsing through free blog backgrounds. I found this one from Aqua Poppy Designs.
There's tons of free backgrounds to use and it's really easy! Check it out!

This is for the monthly challenge, Stamping to the music #2. From the moment I saw the challenge and ordered my stamps I knew this is absolute PERFECT! The best thing about stamping is that my Richie has been addicted to stamping too! The next blog is his first creation.

Lookie what I got!!

Okay, so I'm supposed to be studying but I just checked the mail and I got goodies!!! Yay! I can't wait to create! The only stamp I didn't get was the ant stamp, which is the only one Rich was really excited for. He wanted to stamp ants all over the kitchen. Can you imagine? LOL!

Now to draft my shopping list for Papertales this weekend! :)

What I should be doing...

So I should be more focused on doing my homework and studying for classes. I have a midterm scheduled for tomorrow (2/26) but I'm not ready for it...who am I kidding, I'm never ready for any exams...LOL. I'm such a procrastinator. Last summer I wanted to kick this bad habit of mine so I bought a book on ways to avoid wasting time and not to procrastinate. To start my routine, I would read this book daily to get tips on how to use my time wisely and to work on my priorities. It worked really well for a WEEK, then distractions and nothing...back to my bad habits. I even signed the Go Home Early List today to have more time to study. They did let me off at 2:30 pm an hour an a half early but look at what I'm doing now. Ha,ha...it will never work. UGH...I need an easy button. Here is what I have been working on, since I haven't been working on school stuff:

This was my first ATC (artist trading cards) which was a lot of fun to make! I wasn't sure how to do them but Lee Anne posted instructions from Split Coast Stampers on how to do it. Thanks, Lee Anne. The winter blues ATC cards were for something blue in the cards. I can't wait to do more!
Okay, now back to the studying!

My first Random Amusing Challenge

Glenda has Random Amusing Challenges posted on her blog every Monday and I'm excited to play for the first time! This challenge was to think of warm thoughts and make a card with flowers, so living in San Diego, most days in the winter is quite warm compared to snowy cities elsewhere. The Thinking of You sentiment is perfect because I'm sending warm thoughts to my all my friends!
The only thing missing that I wanted to add to it is a pink ribbon across the the page where the flowers are.

Recipe: A muse clear stamp (simple wishes), friskars flower punch, and pink twinkle star.

cuttlebug

Sunday was Cuttlebug day! Levy bought me a cuttlebug (it was on sale at Michael's and we didn't need the 50% off coupon!). Rich and I created this card using our little contraption and I think Rich is more excited about using it than I!

Happy Birthday, Lorraine and Chuck

Two birthday cards created using amuse stamps. They are both in hospitality at the Rock. They both are wonderful and inspirational people who loves God and just want to "do something" to serve Him.

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's valentines day and here is the card I made for my Love. After yesterday's unlucky event, I thought about how much Rich means to me. "Home is where the heart is and my heart is with you!" We've been together for over five years still going strong. This year has changed the both of us for the better and have made plans for the future.
With God, he will make all things possible.
On our way up to Big Bear, we were singing a song, it's the Beatles "and I love her". This song will always remind me of our trip.

Unlucky day

I usually don't believe in bad luck especially on Friday the 13th, but it does happen. After an amazing day at Big Bear, a storm hit and Richie and I decided to get off the mountain. We didn't have snow chains so we wanted to leave to avoid THIS from happening. All things said and done, we were safe and no one got hurt. Although, on our last run before lunch we both ate it hard on the snow. My shoulder hurts and Richie's body is in pain. It was a great day and can't wait to go again...at least once more this season! :)

My very first blog, wohoo!!!

So today is my first blog, yay! I started this blog because I'm an amuse addict and I wanted to post my creations to show them off. As I thought more about my blog, I wanted to post everything that is special in my live, hence "All things Analyn" was created. So follow me into my world filled with all things Analyn. Enjoy!

This picture was taken at Boomers "rally racing" w/Rich. It was a fun day, back in April shortly after my father passed. Rich wanted to brighten my day so we went "wrally racin." Fun times.
