This week at CAS-ual Friday is:

It was a challenging card because I really don't like to use glitter or glue dots.  Glitter can get very messy and for some reason glue dots does not stick well with me.  If you take a look at the up close shot, the glue dot on the left side is not perfectly round.  I don't know why that happens.
Anyone have any ideas?

It was a fun challenge nontheless.  I got a chance to play with this month's spotlight "Tini Time".  I am in love with this set.  I love how the bubbles and starlight things came out.  I masked the top papaya starlight thing and was very impressed how it turned out.  I actually just covered it with a piece of paper and I was afraid the corner was going to show up. If you looked close enough, you can actually see it.  It's a good thing all you get is my photo.  Which reminds me, I've got to get a better camera (I'm using my camera phone) and a light box.  What I have now is horrible but it'll have to do.

Happy Friday everyone!

Tini time is on sale till August 15th!

  1. Aloha Analyn! Saw your post on SCS and wanted to say hello here too. I always like making connections with Hawaii girls, it brings me closer to home. ;) Adorable card - you did a great job considering you don't like glitter (me either)!

  3. Analyn, your card is just beautiful even with the one dot. I had the same problem with my card and had to make a few before I got it right. I love glitter, but it does make such a mess.

  6. What a great theme using the glittered glue dots! Love the colors. I have a hard time keeping my glue dots round too, the trick I use is press the glue dot right on my finger and then re-press it on the paper from my finger. Most times the glue dot will transfer whole :) Thanks for playing this week at CAS-ual Fridays!

  7. I like how you implemented the glitter into your background. It adds a nice little touch. Thank you so much for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays this week.
